Glen Hartjes celebrates 40 years of photography with Image Studios
This month we recognized Glen Hartjes for his 40 year of service at Image Studios while providing commercial photography, corporate photography and advertising photography to clients both regionally and nationally. Over the years Glen has produced photography for clients such as Yamaha, Carver Yachts, Kohler, Oshkosh Corp., Miller Electric and many others. With his unique style through the use of digital imaging tools today and his creative vision, designers, art directors, and marketing professionals have come to rely on his expertise and versatility to create exciting and dynamic images for their photo productions. We congratulate Glen and thank him for his dedication, passion and love for photography!
Lifestyle Photography for Fine Art Installation
John Feeney, CEO of Community Health Network’s Berlin hospital, expressed his passion to install large fine art, lifestyle photography on the walls of the newly renovated hospital this past winter. Image Studios partnered with Berlin hospital’s marketing staff, working together from concept to installation. This team produced images incorporating actual Doctors, patients, healthcare professionals and their stories to create uplifting and dynamic photographs by photographer Shane Van Boxtel. The pictorial campaign, ‘Milestones in Life’, was the creative guide along with the ideas of Hope, Compassion, Joy, Health, Love and Happiness in this production of artwork.
Wild Blue Technologies provided the fantastic service of printing these monumental, life-size canvas photographs. Their quality and professional eye matched Shane Van Boxtel’s vision, creating a perfect final product. Image Studios wins “Best Video” at SPC Spring Meeting in Toronto
During the SPC Spring Meeting in Toronto last week, they debuted video submissions from the first-ever SPC Packaging Stewardship Video Challenge. All SPC member companies were invited to submit short videos highlighting their company’s progress, innovation, and commitment to sustainable packaging. The videos were to inspire, educate, and encourage viewers, and the challenge was a great way for members to learn more about the activities of fellow member companies, as well as highlight the good work of SPC members and the collective impact of the coalition. The theme of this year’s challenge was: How is your company making the SPC definition of sustainable packaging come to life? Image Studios produced the winning video for cei/InterGroup International to win the the Best Video beating out Coca-Cola Company, Pepsi and Starbucks to name a few from the competition, and it was also voted as an SPC favorite at the show.

When Rouse Properties called and asked if we could photograph 30 commercial properties in 19 states across the country … AND have it completed in just one week, we said – “No Problem!” By shuffling schedules with our photo team and tapping into our network of freelance photographers, we made it happen! It took a team of 20 photographers, 7 retouchers and an experienced production team to pull it together, but in just one week we delivered over 700 retouched, high resolution images for their marketing and advertising needs!
